The new popular style shirt is the "crop top". It is basically a regular shirt, but shortened to show some skin. Now that it has become so popular, stores like Forever 21 and Aeropostale have made it into a halter top. This style shirt has become a huge trend for girls, especially during summer. Celebrities have been seen wearing these tops, such as Vanessa Hudgens (she wore the one in the photo from Forever 21) and internet celebrities like Amanda Steele (MakeupbyMandy24).My opinions:
I happen to think that this cropped halter top style is very cute. The things that I don't really enjoy about this trend is that kids in middle school are wearing them, when this shirt was made towards teenagers. Kids are getting dress-coded for wearing these tops. Although inappropriate for 10 year olds, I think its perfectly fine and pretty for teens in high school.
